@realrebelblack Netflix Pick of The Week "JUICE" starring Tupac Shakur

The kids today are waking up and hitting up youtube, for old school hip hop music and they are hitting up Netflix.com to check out urban or hip hop based movies. With the same redundant music and the decline of urban movies, its good that the young ones have a chance to learn and be entertained by legendary figures in music and film. This leads me up to Juice starring the late, great Tupac. Who can believe that this movie was released in 1992? Has it really been that long? Well Tupac plays Bishop, an uptown NYC teen who has lost his mind! A great movie that really showed the potential that Tupac had in front of the camera! The Juice Soundtrack is also one of the greatest hip hop movie soundtracks to ever be released. Ernest R. Dickerson directed this movie and it had a great cast, including Omar Epps, Cindy Herron, Jermaine "Huggy" Hopkins, Khalil Kain, and Samuel L. Jackson; the film features cameo appearances by Queen Latifah, EPMD, Special Ed, Ed Lover, Doctor Dré, Flex Alexander, Fab Five Freddy, Yo-Yo, Donald Faison and Treach. The biggest lesson I hope that the kids learn from when they watch this movie is that, the same issues that kids had to deal with in the past they have to deal with today. Guns, drugs, gangs, sex the list goes on and on. So if you are older and haven't had a chance to revisit JUICE or you a youngster check out one of Tupac's greatest roles and enjoy the sounds of great music. Remember kids we have been dealing with drugs, guns and crazy niggas like Bishop for the longest time.
